Shopify Payments works in about 39 countries. If you sell from Bangladesh, Pakistan, Nigeria or anywhere else without it, you can build a great store and still have no simple way to get paid.

Where it does work, new stores often see payouts held for review, while ad spend goes out and orders keep coming in.

Change only the payment step. Your store, theme, products and fulfilment apps stay on Shopify. Checkout moves to your own domain, and payment goes through Whop, which pays out in 200+ countries.

    Create a small app in your own Shopify developer dashboard. The wizard gives you every value to copy, checks the result and explains any error in plain words.

    Use the Whop account you already have, or sign up free at whop.com. Paste an API key and we set up the rest. Sales are paid straight into your own Whop balance.

Who is CheckoutFlare for?
It is built for first-time and early dropshippers running a Shopify store, especially sellers in countries where Shopify Payments isn’t available, and stores whose Shopify Payments payouts were put on hold. If you already take payments without trouble, you can still use it for the checkout editor, upsells and tracking — but the setup is designed around beginners.
Does it work in my country?
Shopify Payments is available in about 39 countries. Whop, which processes your payments, pays out to 200+ countries by bank, mobile wallet or crypto, depending on where you live. Whop decides who it can verify and approve, so check Whop’s supported-country list. You can sign up for Whop for free and see how far its verification gets before you pay us anything.
How do I get paid?
You connect your own Whop account. If you don’t have one, you sign up at whop.com for free. Every sale goes straight into your Whop balance. You withdraw from your Whop balance using the payout methods Whop offers in your country. Payout timing, reserves and holds are set by Whop, and CheckoutFlare never holds your money.
What does it cost?
Free is for building and testing. Starter is $0/month plus 1% of each order, so you pay us nothing until you sell, and your first $1,000 of sales on each store are fee-free. We never save your card. Growth and Scale are a monthly subscription paid on our Whop checkout page, and usage fees are added up into one bill each month. Card processing is a separate charge from Whop (for example 2.7% + $0.30 for domestic cards; rates are set by Whop, check your Whop dashboard). Will DSers, AutoDS and CJ still work?
Yes. When a shopper pays, we create the paid order in your Shopify store, with the customer, items, shipping address and totals. Your fulfilment apps see a normal paid order and carry on exactly as before.
Do I need Shopify Plus?
No. CheckoutFlare works on regular Shopify plans. You do not need checkout customisation features or Shopify Plus.
What about Shop Pay?
Shop Pay is Shopify’s own wallet and isn’t available on our checkout. Apple Pay and Google Pay are, along with cards and the other methods Whop enables for your account. Some “Buy it now” wallet buttons that Shopify renders on product pages may still open Shopify’s own checkout.
What about chargebacks and disputes?
Disputes are handled by Whop, as the processor, and you are the merchant. Whop charges a dispute fee ($15.00 at the time of writing). We help you prevent them with delivery-date estimates at checkout and automatic tracking sync to Whop. Automatic chargeback evidence (Dispute Shield) is coming soon.
Can I switch back to Shopify’s checkout?
Yes, in one click. You can also start with a traffic split, for example 10% of shoppers, and if our checkout ever fails to respond, shoppers are sent to your normal Shopify checkout automatically.
Is this allowed?
You keep using Shopify for your store, products and apps. You choose to send shoppers to an alternative hosted checkout and to be paid through your own Whop account. You remain responsible for following Shopify’s and Whop’s terms and the laws that apply to your business, so read them, and our Terms. This is not legal advice.
