Your checkout is the last page a shopper sees before they pay. A clean page that looks like your brand builds trust. A fast page with few fields means more people finish buying.
The editor lets you design this page without code. You see your changes on a live preview as you work. The dashboard estimates about 10 minutes.
What you need before you start
- Your logo as a PNG, JPG, WebP or SVG file under 200 KB. Or a link to it.
- Your brand colour, if you have one.
- Links to your refund, shipping and privacy policies.
- A free account is enough. You can design and test before choosing a plan.
Open the editor
Click Checkout in the left menu. At the top you see two tabs:
- Checkout: the page where shoppers enter their details and pay.
- Thank-you page: the page they see after they pay.
The editor has three tabs on the side: Blocks, Theme and Settings. Your work is saved as a draft automatically. A small label shows Saved. Nothing goes live until you publish.
On a phone, switch between edit and preview with the two buttons at the top.
Steps
1. Start from a template
- Click Templates.
- Click a template to preview it. The choices are Classic, Minimal, Bold dark, Trust builder, Beauty / Soft and Gadget / Tech.
- Apply one. If you already have a design, the editor warns that blocks and colours will be replaced. Your logo, store name, language, policy links and field settings are kept.
- Changed your mind? Click Undo in the message that appears, or press
Ctrl+Z.
If you are new, Trust builder is a good start. It has reviews, a guarantee, badges and delivery dates.
2. Add your logo and colours (Theme tab)
- Open Theme.
- In Header and logo, upload your Logo or paste a link. Set Logo height and Alignment.
- In Brand color, pick a preset or set your Accent. Buttons, links and highlights use it. Button text changes to stay readable.
- In Colors, start from a look, then change Page, Form side, Summary side, Borders, Text and Muted text if you want.
- In Shape and type, choose the Font, Corner radius, Button style and Input style. The fonts are web-safe, so they load fast on every device.
3. Add or change blocks (Blocks tab)
Blocks are extra pieces on your page. The page has a Form column and an Order summary column.
- Click Add block under a column.
- Choose a block. They are grouped into Sell more and Build trust, plus content and advanced ones. Examples are Customer reviews, Trust badges, Guarantee, Countdown timer, FAQ, Payment icons and Delivery estimate.
- Click a block on the page or in the list to edit its text.
- Use the icons to hide, duplicate or delete a block. Drag to reorder.
The four core parts of the form, Contact, Delivery address, Shipping method and Payment, are always there. The Payment part is Whop’s secure form.
Be honest with blocks. A countdown timer that always resets or a low-stock bar that is not true can hurt trust.
4. Set the details (Settings tab)
- Checkout language. Pick from 18 languages. Auto-translate by browser language shows labels in the shopper’s language when we support it.
- Form fields. Set Last name, Phone number, Company and Apartment, suite, etc. as required, optional or hidden. Fewer fields mean more completed orders. Couriers often need a phone number.
- Options. Turn the Discount code field, Address suggestions and the Email opt-in checkbox on or off.
- Text. Change the Pay button, Footer trust line and Shipping note.
- Policy links. Add your refund, shipping and privacy pages. Shoppers and payment companies expect to see them.
The preview uses sample items. Real products, prices, shipping rates and discount codes come from your store.
5. Preview and publish
- Click Preview to see the full page.
- Click Publish, then confirm. The new version goes live right away.
- Do the same for the Thank-you page if you changed it.
The rule about example reviews
Some templates include example reviews and ratings. Replace them with real ones, or delete the block. If you publish with example content, a warning appears. You must tick “These reviews and numbers are real” before you can publish. Made-up reviews are illegal in many countries and break payment-provider rules.
Version history
Every time you publish, a version is saved. Click History to see them. Replace draft copies an old version into your draft. Nothing changes for shoppers until you publish again.
If something goes wrong
- The Publish button is greyed out. You have no unpublished changes.
- “Fix errors to save”. A value is invalid. The error shows where. Fix it and the draft saves again.
- “Could not save”. Check your internet connection, then make another small change to try saving again.
- Your logo will not upload. Keep it under 200 KB, or paste a link instead.
- You deleted something by mistake. Click Undo in the message, or press
Ctrl+Z. - The checkout looks fine in the editor, but shoppers do not see it. You may not have published, or your store may not be live yet. See Billing and plans for going live.
